Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I spent my childhood between the countryside and the city. The life in the countryside was what triggered my passion for nature, and especially fire cooking.

As an adult, I emigrated from Argentina to Uruguay in the pursuit of a life close to the ocean and nature. With the help of an architect friend, I designed a home in Uruguay, where I hosted a single-table restaurant for a couple seasons. A partner and I opened a shop that combined local design and local produce, and a couple of years later I opened AZUL, a specialty coffee store.
